Dustless Floor Refinishing
Each drum and edger runs with a vacuum attached, so oak dust lands in a bag instead of on the curtains. Before finish, the crew vacuums again and tacks the floor.

Three or four days covers most Milford refinishing jobs, from the first coarse pass to the last finish. Clean bare feet are fine after a day, and leave area rugs up for a week.
Bad spots get handled before the sanders roll. Loose strips get nailed, cracked ones get swapped, and dark rings from an old radiator get cut out so the floor finishes evenly.
We'll stand behind the sanding and finish for twelve months. Fifty percent comes due as our crew unloads the equipment, and the other fifty on the day finishing wraps up.

Clear finish on bare oak keeps a kitchen near Louisa Lake light and natural, with no stain at all.

Medium brown with a little warmth is forgiving of crumbs and sneaker marks in a busy front hall off Main Street.

A soft neutral brown takes the pink and orange out of old red oak and goes well with white trim.

Reddish brown suits Victorian rooms like the ones in older houses near Memorial Hall.

Dark coffee brown lends a dining room near Draper Park a dressed up feel while the grain still comes through.

Near black is bold in an open family room. Lint and pet fur catch the eye on it quicker than on mid browns, and the estimator says so up front.

Sanding and new finish together cost $2.50/Sq Ft. If you'd like color, stain is another $2.00/Sq Ft, and solid stair treads are redone at $50 per step.
Most do. Close the doors to the rooms on our list and keep the cat on the other side. If bedrooms are getting done, a night or two at Grandma's while the finish dries makes life easier.
Far less than you'd think. Vacuums pull dust right off the sanding drum, and the crew vacuums once more before finish, so your kitchen counters and bookshelves stay nearly clean.
Pale stains sometimes sand away. Black ones tell us urine reached deep into the oak, and no sander gets that out, so we pry those strips up and lace matching oak into the gap.
Solid oak like most Prospect Heights floors can take many more sandings. Engineered floors have only a thin layer of hardwood on top, so the estimator lifts a heat register cover and checks its edge first.
Kitchen chairs on felt pads can return in two or three days. Area rugs and the heavy couch need extra time for the finish to harden, and the crew lead will give you a date.
You'll pay fifty percent on day one when the sanding begins, and we collect the rest once you've walked the finished floor. Coming out to measure and quote is free.
