Walkthrough Before We Start
Before the delivery truck comes, our project manager measures each room, checks plywood moisture and chooses the straightest wall as the starting line.

Each person nailing your oak works for us directly and holds NWFA training. Our company is licensed, fully insured and never subcontracts.
When the crew arrives we tape off the rooms again, pull planks from several cartons to blend lengths and set thresholds at every doorway ahead of time.
Should our workmanship slip before next year at this time, we come back free, and the mill stands behind the wood itself.

Straight rows along the longest wall make any room look deeper, and this is the most budget friendly layout.

Herringbone zigzags across a dining room and gives a classic feel that never looks dated.

Chevron points like arrows down a long hall, a sharp look for newer homes along Route 116.

Rows set on an angle disguise crooked walls in older houses and add a sense of movement.

Parquet squares built from short pieces make a striking entry or a cozy library corner with a reading chair.

Basketweave pairs strips into little woven blocks, a fun pick for a mudroom or front foyer.

Labor is $2.25/Sq Ft for nailed oak with felt and nails included. Packages where we also supply the oak cost $6.00/Sq Ft for prefinished planks, or $5.50/Sq Ft if you choose unfinished wood we sand on site.
Usually the next day. We stock flooring in our own Coventry warehouse, so the truck can bring your oak shortly after you sign.
Yes. We open the cartons in your home and let the planks adjust to indoor humidity, which matters near the river in summer.
It can be. Taking out carpet runs about $1.00/Sq Ft, with our crew carting the carpet, the pad and the tack strips off to the dumpster, leaving clean plywood for the oak.
Our installers take care of it at a flat $250, carrying heavy pieces to a spare room before nailing begins and returning each one to its spot when the oak is done.
The oak is paid for at delivery from our Coventry stockroom, while install labor is settled when our crew pulls into your driveway. No hefty deposit is collected weeks before.
Send the other written estimate over. Brazil Floors promises the best price around, so if a local company offers the same oak and work for less, we go under that number.
Yes. Any nailing or layout problem that turns up during the first year is fixed by us free, and the oak itself is backed separately by the company that milled it.
