Walkthrough Before We Start
A walkthrough comes initially. Our lead installer checks for soft spots in the floor beneath it, notes every doorway height and plans which way the rows should run.

For Arrochar wood, assess insurance and licensing with the work. Document any owner or project requirements ahead of booking.
Measure Arrochar closets and recesses with the rooms. Set the layout axis and inspect floor heights ahead of calculating the order.
Keep the terms of your one-year hardwood workmanship warranty with your board specification, written estimate and manufacturer's care guide.

Parallel rows track your room's longest wall, a classic layout that keeps waste low and the space calm.

Set Arrochar herringbone from the centerline, then also balance its edge cuts before ordering the boards.

Set the chevron points on a row visible from the doorway. Note where the pattern meets the surrounding trim.

Test a diagonal layout on your room lay out first. Include the extra cuts at corners and the edges of nearby rooms.

Checkerboard squares follow a proposed room grid. Assess partial blocks where the grid meets each border.

Draw a basket-weave repeat alongside the longest wall. Check its edge cuts where the pattern will meet a doorway.

If the home is near Hylan Boulevard, bring a photo that shows the landing inside a split entry. Photograph its edge of the retained flooring. Check the exposed support before choosing plank thickness. Use both measurements to pick the transition.
At an address near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge approach, look closely at the first doorway off Hylan Boulevard. Measure the clearance under the door. Count every layer in the new assembly. Coordinate the trim to the resulting height difference.
Tell us whether a side entrance near the bridge approach is part of the work near the South Beach side of Arrochar. Show the driveway and the narrowest indoor turn. Look at the package length with available access. Pick an indoor storage spot before ordering.
For your place near the Father Capodanno Boulevard side, show the base beneath a ground-level room before settling the scope. Draw the openings where the base changes. Look at a shared starting line with separate room layouts. Allow for cuts at the old trim.
Start with a photo of the door from a drive on the South Beach side at the Arrochar property. View a board alongside the woodwork you plan to retain. Look as seen from the door and from the brightest window. Compare the profile and the shade before confirming stock.
Assess the board specification and exposed base. Check the accepted adhesive, fasteners or backing. List the proposed method in the written estimate.
Check whether the maker approves the board for that base. Look at moisture readings with the product limits. Specify the approved preparation and attachment.
Use the measured room outline and your chosen repeat. List cuts at the walls and doorways. Confirm the board allowance before ordering.
